Brainstorm
and Reference research
Making a good brainstorm and framing how to best convey the message of the illustration is a fundamental step for the final success, a good illustration starts from a good idea.
Sketch
The most important part of the whole workflow,
here I define the composition, framing, perspective and distribution of all image elements.
Colorsketch
After understanding the structure and composition of the image.
Keeping the sketch on the surface I begin to adding the basic colors and lights of the scene, we are still in a sketch phase, but we are starting to see how the final result will be
final details
Here we are at the final stage, after having understood the composition, the colors and the lights I can proceed to add the details and complete the illustration
